My clients weren’t looking to change the footprint of their bathroom, just update it to better match their style. So we added new tile, fixtures and some wall paneling to balance out the tall ceilings. The rendering is almost spot on (just a switch to the vanity mid-project). This living room looks like an easy blank space to work with (swipe for the before) but the layout proved to be a little tricky. I have a funny feeling someone didn’t think too much about furniture and function when they designed it…😒 But have no fear, we figured it out! The 2 half walls in front of the kitchen and stairs limited us to finding the perfect sized sectional while leaving space to pass through from the front door to the back of the house. Once we got that, we were good to go with adding some textures and contrast to warm up the room. Bright but still cozy.

Sometimes the TV just doesn’t belong above the fireplace. Swipe to see the before. By moving the TV to a separate wall, we were able to lower it to a more comfortable viewing height. And by closing off the furniture between the family room and kitchen, we created a more defined space, making the large family room feel cozier and more inviting 🤍
